Explanation as a Process: User-Centric Construction of Multi-level and Multi-modal Explanations

چکیده

In the last years, XAI research has mainly been concerned with developing new technical approaches to explain deep learning models. Just recent started acknowledge need tailor explanations different contexts and requirements of stakeholders. Explanations must not only suit developers models, but also domain experts as well end users. Thus, in order satisfy stakeholders, explanation methods be combined. While multi-modal have used make model predictions more transparent, less focused on treating a process, where users can ask for information according level understanding gained at certain point time. Consequently, an opportunity explore levels abstraction should provided besides explanations. We present process-based approach that combines multi-level The user textual or visualizations through conversational interaction drill-down manner. use Inductive Logic Programming, interpretable machine approach, learn comprehensible model. Further, we algorithm creates explanatory tree each example which classifier decision is explained. navigated by get answers detail. provide proof-of-concept implementation concepts induced from semantic net about living beings.

investigation of single-user and multi-user detection methods in mc-cdma systems and comparison of their performances

Multi-Modal Swarm Construction

Swarm construction involves a population of autonomous agents collaboratively organising material into useful persistent structures without recourse to central co-ordination or control. This approach to fabrication has significant potential within nanoscale domains, where explicit centralised control of building activity is prohibitive (e.g., Martel and Mohammadi, 2010). The ultimate value of s...

User-centric Network Service in a Multi-User Virtual Environment

Multi-User Virtual Environment (MUVE) is a popular topic attracting much research focus in the recent years. Reducing the amount of information transmitted over the network for such an environment is a crucial task for good system performance. This paper focuses on how to screen unnecessary information transmission in such a system from a user's point of view. We will try to satisfy as many use...

Multi-modal Dialogues as Natural User Interface for Automobile Environment

We are evolving into a mobile information age where information is expected to be accessed anywhere, anytime, wherever is needed. In this paper, we consider the issues of handling the problems of modality recognizer errors and consistency between multiple modality inputs for a multi-modal dialogue interface in the automobile environment. We describe our work on utterance verification and its ap...

Towards Multi-User Multi-Level Interaction

The necessity of incorporating experts from various domains in order to understand and draw meaningful conclusions from complex and massive amounts of data is an undisputed fact. In order to create and effectively use such a collaborative information workspace it is vital to understand the interaction processes involved. Established, high-level interaction patterns work well for single user, si...
